SUSTAINABILITY ORGANIZATION

Our sustainability approach is realized though an efficient organizational structure under the mandate of the senior management. A multi-disciplinary organizational model with vertical and horizontal integration enables us to share and spread the best practices across the group.

A Sustainability Committee, reporting to the CEO, sets policies and it is responsible for the coordination groups in subsidiaries.

Sustainability Groups in terminal operation companies consists of representatives from energy management, waste management, water management, HR, corporate communication, accounting and related departments.

Sustainability Groups report to the GM/Deputy GM of their respective company and they are responsible for monitoring and analyzing the indicators set out in the TAV Airports Holding Sustainability Strategy and Action Plan, as well as developing projects and suggestions for increased performance.

TAV Airports Sustainability Committee reports to the CEO through its chair –Corporate Communications and Sustainability Director- and is responsible for developing the Holding’s Sustainability Strategy and the related Action Plan as well as coordinating Sustainability Groups in subsidiaries; consolidating, reporting and enhancing the group’s sustainability performance.

The Committee consists of representatives from related departments at Holding level and representatives from service companies.

The Sustainability Teams reporting to terminal administrations are comprised of representatives of energy management, waste management, water management, human resources, corporate communications, financial affairs and other related departments which are appointed by the related terminal's General Manager and Deputy General Manager.

Directly reporting to the related operation's General Manager and Deputy General Manager, Sustainability Teams are in charge of carrying out measurement, assessment and reporting tasks related to the key performance indicators set forth in the Sustainability Strategy and Action Plan of TAV Airports Holding and developing projects and suggestions to improve sustainability performance.
